WARNING: Some of the plot is revealed here, so if you don’t want to spoil the movie DO NOT read. . .

now I haven’t read much about how this movie was made or how it’s doing, or even what new technical breakthrough’s were achieved- I just watched the movie.

Over 99.95% of it is CG which kinda reminded me of a way hopped up version of Titan AE or Final Fantasy with a “Dances with Wolves” storyline and way better graphics. . . This movie starts out kinda like another J.C.’s movies, Aliens. They both have Marines waking up from Hyper sleep, they both have cool looking transport ships with mech style units walking everywhere and female bad to the bone marines and let’s not forget all that new military technology everywhere, very cool.

It is entertaining, it is energetic, and it looks amazing, which is no surprise that it’s an IMAX release as well. . .Oh yea and the bad guy get what’s coming to him after killing a bunch of good guys and destroying some of their natural habitat of the indigenous natives who for the most part are nice likable creatures like the old native indians trying to protect their land. The movie stars Sam Worthington, who I 1st saw and was immediately likable in Terminator Salvation, with a not so surprising role from Sigourney Weaver and that guy from Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow who was also in Saving Private Ryan, Giovani Ribisi. . .
It’s well worth the money to see this movie if not just for the sheer entertainment value or eye popping digital landscapes.
